NBA standings, live scores & results

Follow team records in the Eastern and Western conferences, with live score panels for Australian basketball fans.

Standings and scores are supplied by SportBusy. Its panels can update after a game finishes, so records or game status may lag the final result. The external panels load only after you allow that content or select the on-page load control. For a final record, seeding or tiebreaker, check the official NBA standings.

How to read the table

The Eastern and Western conferences run separate playoff races. A league-wide table compares all teams, but an overall league rank is not a conference playoff seed. Each team's W–L is its wins and losses. PCT is winning percentage, calculated as wins divided by games played. GB is the number of games behind the leader of the grouping shown. STRK is the current run of wins or losses; W3 means three straight wins and L2 means two straight losses. Check which conference or group a table shows before comparing GB or rank.

Playoff places and the Play-In

In each conference, positions 1–6 qualify directly for the playoffs. Teams in positions 7–10 enter the Play-In for the final two places. The winner of the 7–8 game takes the seventh seed. The winner of the 9–10 game then faces the 7–8 loser for the eighth seed. See the NBA Play-In guide for the format and current season details.

Following games from Australia

A game listed on a US date can fall on the following calendar day in Australia. The score panels use their provider's display settings; their dates and times may differ from your local time. Brisbane uses AEST year-round, while Sydney and Melbourne may show AEST or AEDT depending on daylight saving. Check the provider's time zone before planning to watch a game.
